Architecture building is regarded as the interface between human and various environment. Therefore, I designed the library as the bridge connecting visitors and outdoor landscape.
Due to the hill-shaped terrain, the library is convinced as a gentle extension of the hill’s foot — extending the hillside and creating a center gathering people from all directions of the T-junction. Two parts of the library, parallel with the arc of the road and the hill, insert with each other.
While the gentle curve of the building creates a careful continuity of the hill’s landscape, visitors standing at two protruding parts of the building could have a panoramic view of the lake which is across from the library.
